Some critics of burglar alarms say that system reliability is a problem and false alarms cause your neighbors to become inured to noise. The most important feature of a burglar alarm, however, is that it provides peace of mind for protecting the valuables of your home. Still, if there is a false alarm due to a system malfunction that should be immediately fixed so that the reliability of the system is not in question.
